Istanbulmedchem ("SciAgentKit", "we") operates sciagentkit.com and the SciAgentKit Service. This policy explains what we collect and why.

1. Data we collect

Account data: your email address, plan, seat count, and license/API-key metadata.
Activation data: when a locally-installed build checks in, we receive your API key and a non-identifying machine fingerprint (a hash) to enforce seat limits and revocation.
Payment data: handled by Paddle (our Merchant of Record). We do not store your card details; Paddle shares limited transaction data (e.g. country, amount) with us.
Usage/technical data: basic logs (timestamps, feature counts such as trial docking usage) for security and quota enforcement.

2. What we do NOT collect

Your scientific inputs (molecules, protein structures, trajectories) and generated results are processed locally on your machine and are not transmitted to us during normal, locally-run use. Only license-validation data is sent during online activation.

3. How we use data

To create and manage your account and licenses.
To enforce plan limits (seats, trial quotas) and prevent abuse.
To email you your license files and service notices.
To provide the optional expert-review service you request.

4. Sharing

We share data only with processors necessary to run the Service: Paddle (payments), our email provider (license delivery), and hosting infrastructure. We do not sell personal data.

5. Retention

We keep account data while your account is active and as required for legal/accounting purposes, then delete or anonymize it.

6. Your rights

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data by emailing support@sciagentkit.com. Depending on your region (GDPR/UK GDPR/KVKK), additional rights may apply.

7. Cookies

The website uses minimal local storage to remember your session (e.g. your email for the dashboard). Paddle's checkout may set its own cookies subject to Paddle's policy.
